hi friends,
at long last, I'm HOME! :) this semester has been super full and fun....but I must confess, for the past few weeks, I've been a little anxious for it to conclude (don't worry - I'm not a terrible teacher....my kiddos were ready too, haha). Finally, on Friday, we officially finished our semester. And on Saturday morning, I made my way to the airport (via a super fun and God-provided taxi driver) and caught my flight home.
and about 15.5 hours later, I was walking through our front door and meeting my little nephew for the first time.
and let me tell you, he is real (yes, even his hair!). he is absolutely adorable. and he likes me, I think. :)
all that to say, I'll be able to be home and treasure some time with my family for the next three weeks during our school's Chinese New Year holiday. I'm really thankful for this opportunity to be home and to be able to have a little time to rest and rejuvenate, both spiritually and physically. :) would covet some of your prayers as I'm sure I'll have some areas to adjust during the next few weeks and will be in need of much grace (as always!).
thanks so much for your continued prayers and support! I'm sorry I've done such a terrible job keeping you all updated this semester. :S Thankfully, He's remained faithful to work in and around me - even if I haven't been so faithful to record it here. :)
so incredibly thankful for you all and your partnership with me for the sake of His glory. :)
